will is not required to be compulsory registerable . it is optional . it need not be typed even . even if in own handwriting it is valid .

WILL IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE COMPULSORILY REGISTRABLE.....CAN BE REGISTERED ANY TIME DURING THE LIFETIME OF TESTATOR........REGISTRATION WILL FACILITATE SANCTITY BUT STILL I HAS TO BE PROVED BY EVIDENCE BY THE ATTESTING WITNESESS.

However, Will of Agricultural land situated at Uttar Pradesh, is required to register.

I disagree, that registeration has any benefits, because a will dated after registration can be used to contest the matter afresh. The last will would stand.
