My father had made a WILL in 2008 and has been expired in April 2010. His (My father)closest friend ask me that my father has made an another WILL in 2009 But my brother said that he has not any other WILL. Please tell me, haw can i search the WILL? Can i goto the Sub Registrar office? I have not any proof of WILL, Date and any other facts.

If the Will was reistered then you could cause search in the concerned Registration office. In any case in the wake of the year 2010 Will the earlier one in the year 2009 has no force of law ofcourse if the latest one was validly executed.

Please ask that closest friend of your father about the date of the will of 2009 and also who is beneficiary thereunder. If you are one of the beneficiaries and the will is registered, you can apply for its certified copy from the Registering Officer.
