I'm a friend of Mr.x, and have assumption that he might have added my name in the will for some marginal share, so I need the xerox copy of the will
Arvind Singh Chauhan (Expert) 13 January 2011
If the will is registered you can obtain certified copy from the office of registrar.
A V Vishal (Expert) 13 January 2011
To get a copy of the will you will have to produce a copy of the death certificate along with the requisite fee and you will get a certified copy.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 13 January 2011
In West Bengal only the executor or the benefiiciary of the Will can apply for certified copy.
V.Mahadevan (Expert) 14 January 2011
After the death of the (testator) maker of the Will (that is in cutody of the Registrar in a sealed cover) any person may make an application to the Registrar for opening the same.On satisfying that the testator is dead and the Applicantis properly identified,he can open the sealed cover in the presence of the Applicant. Therafter a copy of the WILL is recorded in the prescribed register. The Applicant is provided the copy at his own cost and expense. The Original WILL,however, remains with the Registrar to be produced before the comptent court, if so required. This I trust meets the requirement of the present case.
