If the petition has been filed against any interim order passed by learned lower court then it is called CMP/CMA.

Sir, What is meant by FOR ADMISSION AND FOR DISMISSAL?

Any case/petition/appeal filed in any court is not automatically admitted. It would first be listed for admission. At this stage, the petitioner counsel has to convince the court about prima facie existence of necessity for filing such a petition/case/appeal. Upon considering the submission of the counsel, it would be admitted or rejected. This stage is called 'FOR ADMISSION'.

If there is an interlocutory application by the opponent for dismissal of the case/petition or appeal for prima facie reasons, then the court would first consider that application before proceeding further. This stage is called 'FOR DISMISSAL'.
