What is conveyance deeds. Lease deeds is conveyance deed or not. Difference between conveyance deed & lease deed. When land is transferred through lease deed. The lease deed will be called conveyance deeds.
A conveyance deed, such as a sale deed, permanently transfers the title and ownership of a property to the buyer. In contrast, a lease deed grants the right to use a property for a specific period but does not transfer ownership. The owner retains the title during the lease term, making them distinct legal instruments with different implications for stamp duty and property rights.
Conveyance deed transfers title of the property to the purchaser. While the lease deed does not transfer the property to any other person. Leasee will only get the right to use the property for the particular period as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the lease deed.

earlier views of experts expressed much wisely, however you must go through the Transfer of Property Act. Lease is not transfer of any title in the immovable property, whereas a Deed of Conveyance i.e. Sale Deed is an absolute transfer of title in the immovable property. therefore there is a substantial differences in respect of transfer of title and rights over the immovable property. the Stamp duty payable are also different due to facts varied in respect of transfer of title and transfer of rights over the immovable property. thanks ashok kumar singh, advocate
