Water leakage in locked apartment

(Querist) 31 October 2020 This query is : Resolved
In our large apartment complex water leakage is suspected in a locked apartment. The owner is abroad. No provision for isolation from outside. Kindly suggest what can be done.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 31 October 2020
Try to contact the owner.

If leakage is due to plumbing problem, supply may be interrupted.

RWA should take appropriate steps to prevent damages.

What is the stand of the office bearers of the RWA?

Due process needs to be followed in force opening. You need to get the assistance from the Executive Magistrate (i.e. Tahsildar, SDO, RDO, District Collector etc).

You need to be the querist or approved LAWyersclub expert to take part in this query .
