Please let me know is there any specific format of vakalatnama. whether we have to affix any court fee stamp on it

Please go through the provisions of Court Fees Act and the format given by the Bar council for Vakalatnama.

Yes there is specific format for the vaklatnama. In our state ( Karnataka state) we affix welfare fund stamp of Rs.10/- and one rupees will be charged for the vakalatname as Court fee.

Prachi bai please contact the Bar council and get the Vakkalthnama and enquire there to acsertain the fee to be pasted.
