Respected Sir/s,

we have taken lease line for internet in past and same period 2004-2008 with one of the internet service provider today we have received their Adv. notice that some amt is dues pending have informed me to pay with interest @ 24% or We they will file criminal case u/s.420of IPC 1860 and civil case.

my question is what is the time limit of filing 420 and civil case once transaction is closed.

5 years for civil case . contact a local lawyer . you can afford legal fees

420 IPC is a sessions warrant case and hence there is no time limit.
For civil suit for money it is 3 years.
