Trademark in simple font or animated

Dear Sir

I want to register(Trademark) my Brand Name regarding which i Have some issues

1. Can I register my Brand Name in simple font & use it in different Colors and Designs later as per my need??
or
I can use it only in the manner in which it is registered?

2.How long does it take to publish the trademark in TradeMark Journal?

1. Trademark once registered can not be changed later. The size may vary but not the design or colour.
2. 2 years.

If i register in simple black font..then i can only use TM in that way..
Can't I use it in other colors ans shapes?

I registered my brand name in animated form, so can anyone else register that name in other color in same class...?

You can use your trade mark in slightly different ways i.e. variations.

As per section 55 of the Trade Mark Act, 1999, use of one of associated or substantially identical trade marks are equivalence to use of another.

You can register all variations as series or associated trade marks.
