A person who is agriculturist and having agricultural land in Maharashtra the said land was in Gujarat before seperation of maharashtra and Gujarat and still he is in possession of that land now can he buy agri.land in Gujarat ? on that basis that from promulgation i am a farmer as he is having agri.land from 1946 onwards please guide.Thanks

Since you are a farmer in some other state, you ill be considered as farmer in Gujarat too, hence you are eligible to purchase agricultural land in Gujarat.
