What is time frame inside which one can appeal against a trial court judgement

eg order was given in dec 2008 , till what date can one appeal against the same in high court ?

30 days from date of judgment excluding time for certified copies of judgment if application made before 30 days of date of judgment.If limitation period expired you can file appeal by praying delay condonation application as stated in section 5 of limitation Act.If areasonable ground for delay proved by appellant in the interest of justice delay may be allowed.riven
