Tax relief

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 16 March 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I paid premium of Post office RD for my sister. She is 21 years old & unmarried.
Can i add this premium amount paid by me to tax relief amount under 80 C
Or it is not possible.

Please make me clear on the above view.

PO Recurring deposit account does not qualify for deduction u/s.80C
