Same name considered in the passport also. In PAN card and adhar card correct sur names is written. In our marriage cirtificate also we have correct sur name.....my question is. 1.we Want to give the correct surname for our kids in the passport. 2.the same name(miss spelt) need to include as a father in our kids passport. The same should include in my passport also as husband name. 3. It is very difficult to change all documents with correct surname and my husband also is in US now. That is the reason I am asking 1 and 2 questions. Is it possible? If yes please let me know the process.it is very urgent for me now.

Unless and untill your husband's incorrecly spelt name is got rectified in all documents after following due procedures, e.g. Affidavit, Newspaper publishing, etc., it would be proper for you and your kids to quote the misspelt name of your husband as is existing in his passport and other documents.

1. You can give the kids name as per birth certificate.
2. Your husband can proceed to change his name through affidavit, news paper publication gazette notification from incorrect to correct name, submit name change affidavit to passport office and get both names inserted in passport.
3. Educational documents need not be changed, both names old and new can be used.

Passport is issued only based on the documents produced by the passport applying person and not based on the parents records
