State appeals to high court

Dear Experts,
Based on what I had asked last time, my friend got cleared of his office us sec 307 in sessions court.
Now the state has appealed to the high court and he got summons.
What we would like to know is how much pain is still left for us now? In how many years will the case at High Court get over? Does it get over in 1-2 years? What after that?
Also the boys parents had started looking for marriage for him after acquittal but the state has appealed. Should they go ahead with his marriage search or not?
Request experts to advised as we are quite shocked with what has happened.

high court takes several years to dispose off appeal..keep patience..no way out.

in High Court it takes more period than guessed by you i.e. 1-2 years. It take years.

NOTHING NEW THING HAS HAPPENED. STATE DOES PREFER SUCH APPEAL

Ans : Not a legal query.
Also the boys parents had started looking for marriage for him after acquittal but the state has appealed. Should they go ahead with his marriage search or not?
Ans : He can get married as long as facts are not hidden from other side.
