stamp duty on contracts

Sir/Mam

Please any one tell me whether Central Government is exempted from stamp duty with regard to execution of contract (works contract) or any stamp value has to be paid by Central Government?

There is no exemption as asked and it is to be levied as required by specific department making such contract.
