Stamp duty for registration of immovable property in punjab

Hello friends,

Can some body please tel me what is the applicable stamp duty rates in Punjab State for Men & Women.

Please also tell me whether there is any concessional rate except above to the Physical handicapped persons.

In India, Applicability of Stamp duty is totally depends upon state law. So, There is more chance that Local Lawyer or Expert from Punjab state could tell exactly.

Agree with Mr. Shailesh. Further, i don't think there will be any difference in stamp duty on the basis of gender.

Difference in the incidence of Stamp duty on purchase of immovable property on the basis of gender is possible and existing. In fact in Delhi there is a considerable difference in such stamp duty rate.
