Quick Summary
This discussion explores the possibility of stamping and registering a photocopy of a partition deed created in 1980, where the original document has been lost. A key concern is whether this is feasible when one of the involved parties has since passed away. The current legal advice suggests that registering a photocopy is generally not possible, and registration typically needs to occur within four months of the deed's execution.

Can A photocopy of partition deed ( partition was written in 1980 on a plain paper) be used for stamp and registration if the original has been lost ? If yes then is it necessary to appear all person related to that partition because some are no more now ?
