in maharashtra -
Bombay stamp act is applicable or Indian stamp act ? Why?
what is the stamp duty for rent agreement for a house for 11 months @ Rs 5,000/-per month?

As per the Schedule -I of the Bombay Stamp Act 1958, the stamp is Rs.750/- for a leave & licence agreement where the average Annual Rent + Security Deposit or money to be advanced is < Rs.2,50,000/- for a single term of 12 months.riven
