Is it mandatory to write service receivers Service Tax regn No. On Invoice?

No. Service receiver's S.T Regn number need not be mentioned in the invoice raised by service provider.

But as per rule 4A(1) of Service tax Rules,1994 read along with Notification 11/2004 ST Regn number of provider should be mentioned in the invoice raised by such person.

Yes. It is mandatory to be written over invoice raised by such firm/person.
