Hi,
I have the following query in my project topic:-
Information officer has received application under RTI Act belonging to Govt. to MH, seeking information about hight, weight, health particulars & menstiual cycle of a lady clerk in the office of the public authority.
I have to prepare draft reply refusing to supply said information.
I am not getting exact information on the same. Expert pls. revert back with grounds of rejection and what kind of draft to be prepare?

If you dont have the exact information you can return the RTI application, "no information available on record". PIO is liable to give info on the available records.

Your reply should be : No such record is maintained at the office.

Instead of "no information available on record OR No such record is maintained at the office" Can PIO may reject the application pursuant to Sec 8(1)(j) of RTI Act, 2005 (Exemption from Disclosure of Information)that Information which relates to personal information the disclosure of which has no relationship to any public activity or interest, or which would cause unwarranted invasion of the privacy of the individual.....
