right of wife over husbands inheritance property

i am having one building and 40*60site in my name which is inheritance property.
my wife is taking divorce from me whether she will get share in my property or she will get compensation as per law.
sir what about the compensation'.
my wife's father is rich person he is not having sons. he has two daughter second one is my wife.

you must give either permanent or monthly alimony the court decided the alimony is either money or property.if you are ready to give money the court may accept

she is having any right over my property?
i am ready to maintenance but not property.

Your wife is not entitled to claim share in the house during your life time, as per general law. In the case of divorce, you may be liable to pay alimony.

Your wife has no right over your property. However, you may be directed by the court to pay the amount of permanent alimony to your wife.

The richness of your father in law can not free you from your liability to pay your wife either a lump sum money or periodical.That is her reward and your punishment of marriage.
However as regards to your property she has no claim against it as sharer or otherwise.
