Registration under Special marriage Act....

Well I and my gf intend to get married I'm a Christian n she a Hindu, problem is that there parents dnt intend to do intercaste no matter what happens, I tried ma best to convince them but dey disrespected me ..... So I and she wanna get married now , but problem is that she shifted From (Tamilnadu ) to Another STATE (andhrapradesh) ...... So she said without our parents knowledge we will get registered n later wen our parents agree den we will lead our life , if we dnt do such there parents will forcibly get her married to someone n I can't digest that...so my que is following..;

1) We both hold ID proof of (tamilnadu) and intended to get register in (Andhra pradesh) is it possible...???/plzzz help me with relevant sections I studied Special marriage act but couldn't determine what exactly to b done...help me plzzzz

Yes.. You can go ahead with id proofs what u have.. Meet nearest sub-registrar and inform all the details he will asist..

If both of you are not of same religion, you have to marry through special marriage act.

It is advisable to get permission of parents from both side.
