Registration of power of attorney

(Querist) 23 March 2014 This query is : Resolved
My mother is 89 years old she has a flat at Dombivli in Maharashtra. I have obtained power of attorney in my name which notarised in front of notary. Can I give the flat on leave and licence agreement or I have to register power of attorney? My mother's age is prohibiting factor as such she can't personally come to registrars office. further she don't have either votors card or pan card.

For leave and license notarised POA will do. However for sell you need a registered one.

It would be better to ge the POA registered. However for L & L you can proceed with the notarized POA.
