Take the help of local lawyer.
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 18 June 2012
need to wait one year gap, and better to contact loacl lawyer

The process has been explained multiple times on LCI, dig archives.

Taking help from a local lawyer would be better, if you can not handle everything yourself.

i agree with Mr.Ashish Davessar sir, better you can consult with the local lawyer. you need divorce by mutual consent means both the parties be unitedly requires the divorce and they must be complete their matrimonial life one year. if not complete one year their are some special procedure too. so better contact the local lawyer.

Contact a lawyer. You shall have to come to an agreement regarding the Divorce like any alimony to be paid, withdrawal of pending cases, assurance that no further case will be filed etc. The petition has to be drafted very carefully.
