As given in your example of "Harman Electronics Private Limited v National Panasonic India Private Limited"
In the above case both the firms have businesses at Chandigarh. Cheque was presented at Chandigarh. Only notice was issued from Delhi. So, I agree that SC asked Chandigarh courts to examine the case.
My brother's place of business is in UK & he wanted to start his business at Bhopal by providing jobs to students from his alma- mater MACT Bhopal , though we are from Chennai.
Unfortunately, his dream stands shattered due to fraud played by the builder. He has so far made 4 trips to Bhopal (each trip costing atleast 1 lakh) just to meet the builder for money & he goes back after his VERBAL assurances to pay back citing dull market conditions. For me too it is difficult to follow the case from Jaipur.
We're afraid, the builder is using his local connections at Bhopal & he is not worried of my brother's case & the cheques have already bounced 5-6 times. He returned money of 1 flat & the 2nd flat money+ hand loan money is still held-up.
Most of the customers are not very well aware of legalities & what they see is that the builder is giving them in writing on NJ stamp paper something which sounds reasonable. They are not aware of the technicalities which help the tricksters.
As a GPA holder , when my place of Service/ business is Jaipur & my brother has account at Jaipur . I pray that I'm able to fight the case from Jaipur so that the builder is put to trouble & crooks get lesson to not trouble customers.
Kindly indicate any 1-2 judgements of SC which will help my case.

we have advised you . it is your call .
why dont you file a summary suit for recovery of money .
or file complaint before consumer forum for deficency in service and ask for compensation .
