I received a notice to appear the court on 09.04.2021, in connection to pay the arrear maintenence for the last 4 months. The delay in payment was unintentional, as was out of station. If I pay the full amount before the date, do I need to appear the court ?
If you've received a court notice regarding unpaid maintenance for the past four months, you may be able to resolve the matter without appearing in court. Paying the full arrears amount before the hearing date and providing proof of payment along with an explanation for the delay to the court is advised. This action is likely to lead to the dropping of further proceedings.
