Query regarding writing letter to opposite party in criminal case

Sir /Madam,

I am facing a criminal case vs state. The trial not yet started in CJM Court. The case is related to money transaction.I just want to know that, in this stage if i write a letter to the concerned department minister with a prayer to withdraw the case against me,as i am ready to repay the money, is it possible in part of Him to withdraw the case? Whether there will be any problem to me if i write the letter to Him directly.Is there any chance of case dismiss in this stage where trial not started yet.Please Help Me in this mater as one of my colleague told me that a letter can be addressed to concerned department minister so....

Please state the sections. Was it for fraud, misappropriation or what? If it was a civil case then out of court settlement would be easier.

Meanwhile do not write any letter as it could work against your case and serve as evidence when trial commences. Please note that this is a precautionary measure and more details are required such as sections from the chargesheet to give a detailed opinion.

Madam, It is related to misappropriation of money under 468,467,471,120 b,chargesheet not yet submitted in court,so do not know about the main charges framed.

Writing letter to the concerned department or Minister will be a confessional statement and will become fatal to your case. The criminal case is not for recovery but to punish you under the respective sections for the offences committed therein, hence instead of doing this you can challenge the case and look for solutions later on.

Better Consult A Local Good Senior Advocate Specialised In Such Issues and Handle the Issue.If you Openly Say You would Refund the amount They would Claim you have Accepted the Guilt.So Handle it with Care and with good Support Come out Of It.
