Sir, I am working as contract basis lecturer in west Bengal Govt polytechnic since 2008, with a consolidated pay Rs. 14,980.00 I am inter vied by dept of tech. educ wb govt full filling all criteria. At 2012 Dept has published an order about pay revision of contract lecture, but I have get not benifit of this pay hike order, as it mentioned that who fullfill AICTE criteria get the advantage of this, I have scored 65% marks in B.E.
At time time I have applied for the post of lecturer(permanent jobs) in W.B govt polytechnic under same dept, organized by wb public service commission & I come eligible for this as in the advertisement it was mentioned AICTE norms
My question is a post (contract basis) demand more qualification than a permanent post?What legal action should I take to get pay hike as a contract basis lecturer, plz advice me .

You should go through the AICTE criteria which is relevant for your problem. If you fulfill the criteria, move ahead otherwise there is no use to invite danger to lose even the contractual service.
