Purchase of land by indian company represented by foreign director

An Indian Pvt. Ltd. Company intending to purchase land in India but the director of the company is a citizen of France. Can he represent the company for the purpose of purchase of land to mutation in the name of the company???

There is no restriction if the Director is a foreigner in an Indian Company for purchasing land in India.

there is no objection if he is foreigner,because the purchaser is a resident indian company.he should be properly authorised by a board resolution to enter into land purchase agreements on behalf of a the company.
