Property partition

Can anybody tell me about the prerequisites and the formalities for filing a partition suit?

First of all the nature of the property and appropriate court having jurisdiction is to be ascertained..after that all the parties having interest of ownership in the property (whether or not he/she is s having the possession of the same) are to be impleaded as parties to the suit..and it is a condition precedent to involve all the property in a partition suit,, so as to avoid the concept of partial partition..

you better appoint a lawyer after that and while keeping in view all the aforesaid things leave the rest to him...
