Dear Sir

My mother wants to nominate a house by power of attorney. Now she is owner, my father has no more. can be owner of this house after power of attorney in Uttar pradesh (India). some of said that power of attorney no valid after 2005, is it true or not plz tell me. And after POA will be in working till death of my mother and after the death Vasiatnama can be authority my ownership of this house ..... plz healp me thanks and regards

if your mother wants to give you the house she can bequeath the said house to you under will .

power of attorney ceases on her death .

POA is still very much especially among the family members.
