Power of Attorney

(Querist) 12 August 2010 This query is : Resolved
a power of attorney is given by the company in favour of a person to do some activities during a particular period and subsequently company wants to withdraw the same and further to give to some other person. the GPA is unregistered but notarised. what is the way to revoke earlier power and to grant further to some other person?

General publication of such notice in news papers. would be better if it is published in official gazette.

Since the GPA holder is co person just give him a termination letter and get his acceptance on it.

Thereafter you can issue another GPA.

Publish the cancellation notice in the leading news paper and send the notice to the GPA holder regarding the cancellation of the GPA

I feel that reply by Mr Shashikumar is more appropriate and practical one. i think taking the signature on termination letter would be sufficient.

step one prepare revocation of GPA.

then prepare another copy of GPA in whose favour the same has to be executed
