tenanant lardlord dispute is pending in court .tenanant is in good reletionship with Asst commissioner of police .now police machinary harrash landlord family several times by calling them police station and pressurise them to compramise
whether W.P can be filed in Hon'ble HIGH COURT(pls state the name of writ) to stop police machinanary from interfering in civil dispute

Yes. You can invoke sec.482 Cr.P.C. and get high court direction tpo prevent harassment.

But the problem is there is no case for quashing. You rather can go for writ in the form of mandamus calling for non interference by the police. Lodging complaint to the Human Rights Bodies may also help.

In High Court of Madras,this kind of matters are filed u/s 482 Cr.P.C. seeking appropriate directions to the police. We cannot file writ of mandamus since the alternative relief u/s 482 as abovesaid is available which bars a writ..
