petitioner is in USA,not attending court

Sir,
Can my daughter ask the Hon'ble Family court to issue a notice to the original petitioner on his official address (as his residential address is not known) to attend the court.He is being represented by his GPA.The petitioner has not attended the court from filing OP till date.The OP was filed by his GPA.Kindly advise.

You are not clear about what sort of petition it is all about. Assuming you are the parent of your daughter and the petitioner is her husband, the answer is like this:
insist on commencing the evidence from the petitioner's side and after a couple of adjournments, insist on the court to dismiss the petition for non prosecution, bacause gpa can represent but cannot testify facts not within his knowledge.
