Dear Experts
Please explain whether a Private Limited company, registered under Companies Act-1956 is within the ambit of RTI Act.

No. A private limited company is not within the ambit of the RTI Act.

No, RTI Act does not cover Private Limited Company.

But, you can get the details of the companies from the ROC by paying relevant fees.
