My client are four brothers and their father are also four brothers.My client wants to get his share of the property from his brothers because his father is no more. But he does not have any document relating to the property, his brothers are keeping those documents.All of them have connived and threatening my client that he will get nothing no matter what.

1. What are the possible ways to get back his share?
2. Apart from partition suit before Ld. Tehsildar what else relief he can have from civil court?
3. Does he need any document to get his suit instituted?

u have forgotten to mention about your client's father, whether he died intestate or not. any how at first your client has to obtain revenue records to proceed further for legal battle to get his right of share in the properties if his father died intestate

WHEN YOU MENTION TEHSILDAR IT SUGGESTS ME THAT PROPERTY IS AGRICULTURAL AND RECORDS WHERE OF CAN BE OBTAINED FROM REVENUE AUTHORITIES,BE TEHSILDAR OR SDM.
