I AVAILED AN HOUSING LOAN FROM ICICI BANK LTD.RAIPUR BRANCH. THE LOAN WAS SUBSEQUENTLY CLOSED BY ME DURING OCT'2010, BUT TILL DATE NOT RECEIVED THE ORIGINAL TITLE DEEDS. THEY ARE OF THE OPINION THAT THE DEED IN ORIGINAL HAS BEEN LOST AT THEIR END, [MUMBAI OFFICE] AS SUCH THEY ARE GOING FOR RECREATION OF DOCUMENTS. WHETHER I WILL AGAIN BE ELIGIBLE FOR LOANS WITH THIS RECREATED DOCUMENTS. KINDLY GUIDE.

Issue Notice to return the original documents which is hypothicated by you. If you lost original documents you have suffered lot.

You can demand the Bank for return of the original documents. If they accept the lost or not returned the same in time, you can demand for the compensation.

You can apply for the certified copy of the documents, that document is as good as the original document.

You can get loan by producing the certified copy and the NOC / release deed from the previous banker.

You have to demand for and take for a certificate from ICICI that the originals were lost from their custody.
