OBC Caste Certificate

Dear Sir,
I belongs to goldsmith caste and i am not sure that in which category(SC,ST,OBC) it comes.i am preparing for government jobs like banking and railways exam so i need the certificate of the related category.please be kind enough to help me that is it comes in creamy layer or not?

Please check up the Government website and enquire the same from your local VAO/RI and Tashildar's office.

it depends on which state you belongs. In some State goldsmith are OBC and in some they come within General Category. You can get information from Collector Office of your District or Official website of your state.

Thnaks for your valuable comments on the toppic. Basically i am from Jamshedpur city (state jharkhand).and pls do mention the VAO/RI full form so that i can search the same.
