Dear Experts,

I have drafted following notice to send to our old tenant for rent enhance. Kindly suggest me with your valuable suggestions for any corrections/additions in accordance with law.

Dear Tenant,

Sub: Request for rent enhancement as per Hon’ble High Court of A.P Order.

1. This is to inform you that, as per Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh judgment on Write Petition No. 16706/ of 1987, paragraph 16(page 6) it is held as under:

“16) The rent Rs.200/- fixed by us shall be paid without any variation for a period of three years. There shall be an increase of 33.1/3% in rent once in every three years and that increased rent shall continue to be paid for the succeeding three years” dated 20th june1987.

2. It is to remind you that, the shop bearing municipal No. 20-4-140(Ground floor, Hyd) was reconstructed under the Road widening scheme and as per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of A.P dated 20.6.1987 in the W.P. No. 16706/87, the rent of the said shop was fixed at the rate of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) per month (exclusive of electricity charges etc.,) which is subject to increase at 33.33% after every three year. After construction the said shop was delivered to you on 26.6.1987 by MCH with my acknowledgment under the terms and conditions imposed by Hon’ble High court in the write petition, referred above.

3. Applying above ratio, it is informed you that the revise rent will be ` 2000.00/- (Rupees Two thousand only) per month, effective from 1st July, 2011 i.e., 30 days from this notice.

Kindly enhance rent as per Hon’ble High Court Order, in default I will be forced to take action and further proceedings against you under contempt of court.
