Notary civil district

Dear Sir,
Kindly let me know that if there is a notification is needed in official Gazette to be appointed as a notary ?
in my city, there are two vacancies for notary and I want to apply for same.
kindly guide me how can apply for this and from where I shoud start.

You have to apply for Notary, duly recommended by the District Judge, to the authorities sanctioning at the State level legal department, about the vacancies, they will be having record of it, you need not bother about it.
