Non judicial stamp paper

Dear All,

Please provide the clarity on the usage of stamp paper (non judicial) during the renewal of agreement.

For example, If I had stamp paper with a date 20th April 2015 on it then can I renew the agreement from 1st April 2015 ?

Whether such agreement will be consider as legally valid document.

yes, one can enter into such agreement, but execution date is on or after 20/4/15.(within 6 months )

Date from which the agreement would be effective / agreement entered among parties may be prior to the date on which agreement executed.
