Non fulfillment of prize announced

(Querist) 15 May 2016 This query is : Resolved 
Dear experts,
I had participated in a contest organised in social media.
The organizers declared me as a winner and a prize as announced in contest was due to me.
Even after four months, I am yet to receive the same.
Every time, I enquire with the company they say that it is under process.
What is the remedy in such cases?

Send them a legal notice and if they still do not pay then file a recovery suit.

Send registered notice followed by legal notice.

For moral pressure, can use media.
