Hi, I'm currently residing in UK and wanted to enquire if I am eligible to enrolled in Mhada mumbai lottery scheme for properties in Mumbai which I am planning to buy on outright. I currently hold indian passport with aadhar pan card in place already but income is from UK only. If I get on outright will I still have to show income as not from India
This discussion clarifies eligibility for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) applying for the MHADA lottery in Mumbai. While holding an Indian passport, PAN, and Aadhar is beneficial, a key requirement is a domicile certificate proving 15 years of residency in Maharashtra. Applicants must also be over 18 and meet specific income thresholds for different housing categories (EWS, LIG, MIG, HIG).

applicants must have a domicile certificate proving 15 years of residency in Maharashtra. The MHADA eligibility criteria are as follows - 1. An applicant should be at least 18 years old. 2. Individuals should have a domicile certificate proving their residency in Maharashtra for 15 years. 3. The applicant should have a PAN card and a stable income. There are fixed-income categories specified under eligibility, based on which flats are offered.
