Married daughters right over property

(Querist) 28 December 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir

KINDLY GO THROUGH THIS CASE AND DONT FEEL BURDEN.IT SAVES MY GRAND PARENTS LIFE..PLEASE.........

My grand parents has 3 sons and 2 daughters. All are married 25 years back.Grand parents has 15 acres of land before partition. He has give 4 acres*3=12 acres to their sons at partition. He has given one acre of land to one daughter and 25000/- to another daughter.

Now grand parents has not in a position to maintain themselves well.In their hand only 2 acres of land is there. Out of 15 acres 5.5 acres are self acquired and 10 acres are ancestral property.

At family partition land has not registered with sons names and daughter name.

Present 3 sons has land pass books with their partition property. BUt land has not registered with their Name.NOw due to health condition and not maintenance by sons grand parents wants to register their self acquired property with daughters name(already partitioned property).Grand parents has 2 acres now in hand but sons are demanding partition immediately without giving any maintenance to parents.

MY issues are here under.

1.If grand parents register their self acquired property(This property has already partitioned to sons 20 years back) with daughters name whether it is valid or not?
2.IF grand parents wants to register 2 acres of land with daughters name whether it is valid?
3.whether Daughters has right over the property(Present grand parents has 2 acres of land and 10 cents of flat).
4. Whether daughters has right over ancestral property.
5.Sons are not taking care of Grndparents.Grand parents want money for their medicals and bypass surgery to grand mother. sons asking land of remaining 2 acres of land but they don't want to give money.
Note****..No property has registered yet with any son name. But they have Land pass books with their name on partitioned property.

Please give me reply sir.
Thanks and regards

1.Since Grand parents are still owners in revenue records and previous partition has not been in writing and registration, hence GPs are free to do what ever they wish to do.

2.yes!that would be valid.

3.yes!

4.yes!

5.Sons have no claim in self acquired property during life time of father. However
they and daughters as well have share and right in ancestral property along with father.
