Maintenance for wife

My wife is mba. I have filed divorce case after one month of marriage. We never consumate the marriage. So I have filed for null and void marriage case.

She was working before marriage and was earning more then then me. How much maintenance she is entited for. She has asked 15 lakhs as compensation. After marriage she is not working.

Under which provision of the Hindu Marriage Act have you filed for divorce after ONE MONTH of marriage - pray?

On which grounds? In the present day set up there are MBA mass produced in private /semi private colleges Some of them are just about at par with a clerk. MBA doesn't assure you of a guaranteed job. Just think over this point as well

Thanks for your reply Mr. Nanda Sir. Sir I want to know one more thing. I have filed divorce case. In mediation the mediator told me that as I have filed the case, court can ask me to pay 50% of my salary as maintenance to my wife. Sir my father is retired govt. employee. My mother is a government employee. We have our own home. We are two brother sister and my sister is married. Sir I have no liability.
