Dear querist,

As per me filing civil suit is best solution against exporters for non payment of freight.

Dear Sir,
You get issue a Legal Notice and find out a way to file civil suit to get justice.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 06 March 2020
Civil suit shall take a long time for decision whereas the process of DGFT is very short and effective.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 16 March 2020
DGFT is better and may deliver fast relief. Agree with the expert Raj Kumar Makkad ji.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 21 March 2020
You can first issue a legal demand notice, await their response till a period stipulated , in case of no fruitful result till then you may initiate legal steps for recovery by whichever fastest mode and convenience you feel it better.
You have been suggested two modes i.e., one through DGFT and another through court of law by filing a money recovery suit.
Both are effective and may take almost the same time.
