You are barred under the Advocates Act from practising more than 1 profession. You need to choose either between your medicine practise or law practise but not both.

You can definitely appear for your LL.B examination but cannot carry two professions together. But these days, there is great demand in Private Hospitals for Doctors having Law degree. They have defend many medico-legal cases for the alleged wrong treatments. It is a good combination and a wise step. Please do not get disturbed, you have an excellant future with Hospitals.

KINDLY NOTE THAT YOU TAKE THE DECISION AFTER YOU PASS THE LLB.FINAL YEAR EXAMS AND APPLY FOR REGISTRATION AS AN ADVOCATE.THE REGISTRATION FORM CONTAINS ALL DETAILS.YOU HAVE TO SELECT ANY ONE PROFESSION.
YOU MAY TAKE OPENION OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS AND WELL WISHERS AND YOUR EXPERTISE.TAKE YOUR OWN DECISION .GOOD LUCK.
