Legal notice to builder

(Querist) 03 February 2018 This query is : Resolved 
I want to send a legal notice to the builder for payment of compensation on account of extraordinary delay in possession of flat. I am confused as to whether it can be sent through a lawyer only or I too can send the notice. What will be the effect in both the cases? Which one will be more appropriate?

Legal notice has to be sent by a lawyer, you can send your demand.
