Respected Experts,
One of my friend is going to take a house in lease basis. He find a house near thiruvallur. The house owner made the lease
agreement. Please guide us what are the things to be considered before sign the agreement . He is new to that area . He doesn’t know anybody there. He wants to know the said house owner is the competent person to make agreement? ls he the real owner of the property?
( Because now a days unauthorised persons are Cheating the innocent people) How to confirm the real owner of the Property. please send your valuable advice

ask the house owner to produce original documents of the house .
property taxes, water bills , electricity bills would be in owner name .
get agreement drafted by lawyer .
