A pricipal employer engage 14 employee, and 7 workers of contractor(Contractor pay wages and maintain pf a/c).

1. Does he(principal employer) fall under the category of EPF act 1952?
2. Does he maintain PF A/c?.

Are those employees directly on the payroll of the principal employer, not making lumpsum payment for those employees to the contractor?

he does not fall under the EPF Act and he need not to maintained the EPF accounts as out of fouteen seven person under the contractor and rest of the seven are the employee of the principal does not attract the act

Dear Subhash,

The principal employer has engaged 14 as his own employer. the 7 are not out of those 14, as already made clear by the author in another thread.
